TRICK or TREAT

 So often we pick up the newspapers and see stories that cause us to react in anger.  When this happens infrequently, we shrug and shake our heads.  We reflect for a short time on how senseless these tragedies are.  Sometimes we look for a reason, but for the most part, these tragedies are forgotten.  We accept them as facts of life.  Some people's lives are harder than others.  Sometimes we believe that the persons have somehow caused these things to happen.  We hope this is not true when we think of the things that we have done that could put us in the same position. 

When stories of tragedy are reported over and over again, it is impossible to shrug them off.  We must take notice.  When you are called by God as a watchman, you must do more than take notice.  You must seek God for a remedy and pray to irradiate the evil that caused the tragedy. 

This is the season of Halloween, the highest of the satanic feast days.  In recent months we have seen an increase of children abducted and/or murdered by deranged people.  Because the spirit of destruction is one of Satan's greatest weapons to receive power through bloodshed, we typically begin to counterattack his offensive tactics during this time of year.  Praying on Halloween will not do.  By then, it is already too late to counterattack him because he has set his destructive forces in operation long before this holiday begins.  

During this season, we begin praying what we call our "trick or treat" prayers.  If you have these prayers already, please begin to pray them now.  Pray them every day if possible, and take authority over this evil.  They are the following::

 GUIDELINES:
These prayers are designed to be prayed with a partner.  We are given the promise that if two of us on earth agree as touching anything that we may ask, Our Father who is in heaven will do what we ask.  It is the function of the church to bind and loose.  Also.  it is easier to pray if one person prays in the Spirit while the other prays with the understanding.  This allows the spirit of worship to prevail.  Praying in the Holy Spirit allows the gifts of the Spirit to operate, especially the gift of prophecy, which gives the rhema word for the situation.  The Lord will also prepare His people through foretelling events that will take place as a result of intercession. 

Always balance your warfare with worship, as you are in the presence of God, you desire to give Him reverence at all times.  Repent before praying.  Worship the Lord until the anointing for intercession descends upon you. 

  • Repent and cleanse soul in the blood of Jesus

  • Break Curses and pray: - For people to repent - Claim redemption by the blood of Jesus - Pray the Word - Prophesy to principalities and powers and bind them - Declare the Lordship of Jesus Christ - Ask God to show mercy to those involved: those who give mercy shall obtain mercy - Break power of Retaliation: "The glory of the Lord will be our rearguard"

SPIRIT OF DESTRUCTION

1.  Break the curse of Early Death ... Declare long life

2.  Bind the spirit of: Apollyon, Murder, Suicide, Alcohol, Drug Abuse.  Intoxication, Infirmity (as a result of accidents), Disability.  Arthritis, Paralysis, Blindness, Deafness.  Fires. 

3.  Bind the Fear of Death, Familiar Spirits, Denial, and Lying. 

4.  Bind the spirit of Destruction.  Injury, Accidents, Infirmity, and close up all weaknesses.  Bind Retaliation spirits and Terrorist spirits, lawless spirit. 

5.  Pray against accidents toward the Body of Christ: "near misses" by aircraft.  Bind foolishness, folly, and religious retaliation. 

6.  DECLARE: "Glory of the Lord goes before us and be our rear guard.  The Lord gives His angels charge over us.  .  .  the angels will hold us up. . . we will not die but live and declare the works of the Lord." 

7.  Pray: "When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against him." 

8.  Break the power of Witchcraft, and Impulsiveness, Poor Judgment over athletes.  Bind Gladiator Spirit, Divination. 

9.  People will run the race with patience and finish the course. 

10.  "We will not die.  but live and declare the works of the Lord"

WITCHCRAFT

1.  Bless with a spirit of repentance those who curse us.  Spirit of Witchcraft be put to death and not prosper.  Bind Jezebel's hands -- that she not do her crafts.  Bind Pharaoh and his magicians.  

2.  The Lord will contend with those who contend with us. 

3.  Bind Fear.  Superstition, Mind Control, and Mind Occult Spirits.  Pharaoh, hypnosis, magic, enchantment, seduction, and drug culture powers.  

4.  Break power of Divination.  

5.  Break power of Sexual Confusion...   " God made them male and female from the beginning."  Declare redemption by the blood.  

6.  Bind Lust and Mammon spirits.  "The love of money is the root of all evil." 

7.  Speak Confusion on the enemy...     Divide the house of satan.  "A house divided cannot stand."  

8.  Plead the Blood of Jesus to demonstrate: Salvation, Deliverance, Love, Redemption.  Restoration.  Worship and Fear of the Lord.  

9.  Ask God to release a demonstration of his power to out do the devil.  "Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound." 

10.  Bind mockery, blasphemy, confusion, and rebellion.  

11.  "And I will cut off witchcraft out of thine hand; and thou shall have no more soothsayers."  Bind false prophecy.  

12.  Bind sorcery -- divide the house of satan, let the counsel of the wicked come to naught. 

13.  Curse Power of blood sacrifices.  . . Plead the blood of Jesus which speaks better things. . .  

14.  Resist the evil report of men. Cast down evil imaginations. 

CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN

1.  Bind lust, hate.  murder triad -- No male babysitters.  

2.  Break spirits of stupor and folly over parents; loose Godly wisdom. 

3.  Declare homes upright before the Lord. 

4.  Hearts of fathers turn toward sons & sons toward father.  

5.  Protection by heavenly Host. 

6.  Break mind occult & drug culture powers over them.  

7.  Cut Jezebel's cords to her children; show No pity If she weeps for them. 

8.  Let the Word of God not depart from the children's mouths. 

9.  Children be raised in nurture & admonition of the Lord.  

10.  Break the power of Witchcraft in schools...    in children...    and In the home. 

11.  Take weapons out of home and make guns.  etc.  unavailable to children. 

12.  Bind Strife and Violence between children.  Bind peer pressure to commit murder.  Pray for fruit of self-control.  

13.  Break power of gangs...    make them undesirable to children.  

14.  Break power of Kidnapping, Rape, Murder, Terrorist Spirits, and Internet Stalking. 

15.  Bind Jezebel's false family and fantasy spirits as companions for lonely or rejected children...    Ask the Lord to fill up their loneliness with His love. 

16.  Make Children Wise as Serpents and harmless as doves. 

CRIMES AGAINST THE ELDERLY

1.  Bind spirit of destruction and death, violence, the thief.  

2.  Ask God for ministering angels to protect the elderly. 

3.  Break power of fear and suspicion. 

4.  Ask God to release wisdom over older persons as to whom they should trust, befriend, etc. 

5.  Ask God for mercy over the elderly -- make them wise as serpents and harmless as doves.  

6.  Ask God to relieve the oppressed. 

7.  Break power of loneliness that leads people to make poor judgments. 

8.  Ask God to give law enforcement persons and people who live near the elderly compassion for the elderly and a desire to help and serve them instead of a desire to do harm to them. 

9.  Ask God to convict those who want to harm and disrespect the elderly. 

10.  Government to devise new programs to help protect the elderly. 

11.  Prayer for the Elderly.  Ps.  71:17: "0 God.  thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.  Now also when I am grayheaded.  0 God, forsake me not; until I have shown thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come."  

12.  Break power of murder, promoting "right to die", "death with dignity."  "assisted suicide."  and all subtle forms of euthanasia among the elderly.  Break ties between murder and political spirits. 

THE FAMILY

1.  Declare homes upright before the Lord.  Command that all accept the covering:

Jesus,

Husband, 

Wife,

Children.  

2.  Bind Jezebel.  Pharaoh, and Ahab spirits. 

3.  Break curse of early death due to dishonoring parents.  (especially alcoholic and drug abusing parents). 

4.  Break double curse off men who do not take care of their own household. 

5.  Break Competiveness between husbands and wives and faultfinding. 

6.  Bind role reversal between wife and husband; woman is saved in child bearing, husband is the provider. 

7.  Loose the submissive spirit:

Husband to Christ 

Wife to husband 

Children to wife

Submit one to another in the fear of God. 

8.  Loose the Joy of the Lord and peace in homes.  The marriage bed Is undefiled. 

9.  Break the power of Religious spirits; Fear of man; Stronghold of pity. 

10.  Bind the accuser of the brethren; break power of strife and violence in the home. 

11.  Pray a wall of protection (hedge) around loved ones who are in rebellion, away from home.  as God . did to Corner.  Hosea's wife (Hos.  2:6,7) . . ." I will hedge her ways with thorns, make up a wall.  so that she will not find her way.  she will follow after lovers but will not overtake them.  then she will say, "I will return to my first love (husband), for then it was better with me than now." 

12.  Pray that God will move on the hearts of godly families to adopt children waiting for homes, and to enlarge the borders of their tens to be able to adopt more children. 

FALSE FAMILIES

1.   Bind Jezebel's efforts to break up families... Declare: The hearts of the fathers and mothers will return to their children. . . and children to their parents. 

2.  Ask God to put conviction on families who abide in Strife; Loose peace over families.  "Every plant that the father has not planted shall be rooted up." 

3.  Pray that homosexual "families" and "marriages" not be acknowledged by the law or by the church. 

4.  Bind political spirits.  Keep them from moving to legitimize false families. 

5.  Break power of gang spirits as false families.  Bind spirits of adoption over Jezebel's children.  Release children to seek security in the love of God and their natural families. 

6.  Bind fornication and adultery... Loose marriage. 

7.  There is only one family established by God: Father, Mother, Children.  God wants His children to be legally married.  Convict those who live in sin; let their wickedness come to naught. 

8.  Bind Jezebel's power that causes women to seek divorce and break up families because she "does not need a man."  Release spirit of wifely submission. 

9.  Bind spirit of Pharaoh and Domestic Violence over men who seek to keep families together and wives in submission by force.  Turn hearts of fathers to the Lord and their children... and children to their fathers.  Pull down the power of matriarchy. 

10.  "They two shall be one flesh."  Bind spirit of betrayal in families.  Bind divorce.  Loose unity and commitment. 

11.   Break the power of the "baby's daddy" syndrome.  Encourage men to be legitimate fathers.  Discourage men from scattering their seed among several women and women having children for more than one man.
